Showtime ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is an event and riding-order management app for equestrian competitions. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Showtime is currently operated by a sole trader trading as Showtime Horses, based in the United Kingdom. Data is currently hosted in the United Kingdom, and this policy is written in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication details. If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information (name, email address, profile photo) from Google in accordance with your Google account settings.
Payment Information
The App is currently free to use. We plan to introduce paid features (such as event entry payments) in future, which will be processed by Stripe, Apple Pay, and/or Google Pay. We will not store your full card details on our servers — these will be handled directly by the relevant payment provider in accordance with their own privacy policies. This policy will be updated before any payment features go live.
Event and Rider Data
To provide event scheduling and riding-order features, the App allows organisers to upload rider lists and related event documents (e.g. CSV or PDF files). This may include rider names, horse names, class entries, and contact details. We process this data solely to generate and display event schedules and riding orders to relevant users.
Usage, Device, and Diagnostic Information
We may collect technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, and crash/error logs to help us maintain and improve the App. We use Sentry, a third-party error monitoring service, to help us identify and fix bugs and crashes.
Camera and Photo Access
The App does not currently access your camera or photo library. We plan to introduce this functionality in future (for example, to attach images to events or profiles), and we will update this Privacy Policy before any such feature is enabled.
Location Data
The App does not currently collect or use your device location. We plan to introduce location-based features in future (for example, showing nearby events), and we will update this Privacy Policy before any such feature is enabled.

The App does not currently send push notifications. We plan to introduce notifications in future (for example, to alert you to event or riding order updates). You will be able to control these through your device settings once this feature is available, and we will update this Privacy Policy at that time.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, or loss. Data is stored on secure servers, and access is restricted to what is necessary to operate the App.
We currently retain account and event data indefinitely, as we do not yet have an automated deletion process in place. We are working towards introducing defined retention periods in future. In the meantime, you can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us using the details below.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
The App is not intended for use by, and does not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under the age of 13. Event organisers using the App to enter riders are responsible for ensuring that any individuals entered are 13 or older. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
